Catch22 & The Promise Society (TPS) host a Yoga & Dim Sum Fundraiser
Catch22 and The Promise Society have joined forces to present YOGA FOR A CAUSE. Come give your mind and body a well needed retreat from the stresses of work, school and your hectic city life while supporting some incredibly worthy causes. This two-part event features a calming morning yoga session led by Catch22’s certified professional yoga instructor followed by a delicious prix fixe dim sum lunch at Uncle Ted’s Modern Chinese Cuisine. Proceeds from the dim sum event, hosted by The Promise Society, will go towards the upcoming Hepatitis-B screening open to the public and admission fees for yoga will help Catch22 represent the USA at the upcoming Club Crew World Championships in Italy! YOGA FOR A CAUSE Time: 10:00am-11:30am Location: Nelson A. Rockefeller Park (off of Warren Street & River Terrace in Battery Park) Price: $20 (Please sign up using eventbrite link at the bottom of this page) Green grass and river views make for the perfect environment for a 1.5 hour vinyasa flow yoga session. Vinyasa yoga, in which movement is synchronized to the breath, is popular for its fast-paced fitness approach while easily adaptable for all levels of yoga practitioners from beginner to advanced.
