The International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF), with over 100 member organizations in more than 40 countries, has hosted a biannual Club Crew World Championship (CCWC) since 1996. This September, the 9th Club Crew World Championships will be in Ravenna, Italy.

 

After three seasons of intense training and high levels of competition, in December our crew was awarded a bid to represent the USA at the 2014 CCWC! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for many of our paddlers and is a culmination of years of hard work, dedication and passion. But transporting an entire crew of 25 team members to Italy for a week is costly! Our goal was to raise enough funds to help offset some of these expenses.
